![]() Any save file, and achievements you have gained are kept as if you're playing from a Xbox 360. Basically, the 360 titles here are running through the Xbox 360 backward compatitibility emulator announced earlier in the same press conference this same game was announced at. ![]() The majority of the titles are from the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo 64, and it's the 360 titles here that I would argue have the most value here just based on how they accomodate save files and achievements. Also, don't expect to get Killer Instinct 1, 2 and the 2013 reboot becuase those are all native Xbox One games. Don't expect to get anything with Donkey Kong or with characters still obviously owned by Nintendo here, so that rules out a lot of the company's SNES era highlight. ![]() The titles her span the entire 30 year history of the company and there are actually very few omissions here. Their other games are nothing to turn your nose up at either, with Banjo Kazooie and Killer Instinct being treasured classics by the famed developer. Rare developed Goldeneye, which was the precedessor to the console FPS classic, Halo. Basically the Western equivalent of Nintendo in the 90s, the developer was bought out by Microsoft in 2002. If you don't know who Rare are these days. Retailing for $30 and having 30 titles, with some being full-fledged Xbox 360 titles, this is the best value for your buck this year. Nearly every game that I want to play but missed because I didn't have Nintendo 64 when I was a child is here, plus some others. Rare Replay was one of the best surprises announced during Microsoft's press conference.
